Well. how simple was that!!!!
No stuck magnet, no blown coil. The LF+ lead had come off the crossover.

I have used the Eminence Delta12LF in the Behringer version of this box(B512DSP) with good results.

The passive version of a Mackie SRM450 is a C300z.
Then there are different versions of the first series, the second and third series were continual with their drivers. The Eminence Delta Pro 12-450a is a direct replacement for the first series and the Celestion TF-1230s is a replacement for the V2 / V3s I've probably just complicated things........

Plese note that passive and powered Art300 boxes were not using the same 12 inch driver.
Might be same case with the Mackie too.

My buddy is not exactly a speaker nut, I was only going by what he said. I did know the RCF/Mackie history and that some of their cabinets were the same with both brands. For example the Monitor 8 was marketed as both Mackie and RCF.
My intention was simply to find out what I could in advance of his visit. Looks like the LF12G301 may be the one. Thanks for the info.

I didnt know RCF did a version of the SRM450
![]() The SRM450 was active, not passive, and came with either a cast aluminium driver of RCF manufacture (as RCF were owned by Mackie at the time) or later on by a pressed steel driver. The RCF cast driver was the same one AFAIK as fitted to the RCF ART300 series which were also marketed as 'Mackie Industrial' however they did not share any other features. But maybe we're a bit premature just yet Edited by kedwardsleisure - 28 July 2022 at 2:55pm |

I have a mate coming round tomorrow as his speaker got knocked over on his last gig. The first thing that comes to mind is obviously a shifted magnet as he said it landed with a hell of a thump.
Apparently it's the RCF version of the Mackie SRM-450 (passive). Can anyone tell me the model number of the appropriate replacement.
