is that in reference to porns or staysis Francis?
i last properly looked at the porns in the summer and baught the beyma's other side of Christmas. looking at the polars they really are rather wide coverage but with an added few db and clarity over the mt12" flare and already owning one of the more expensive components to this their seeming like a sensible option when cash can be found for the upgrade. having said that looking at the horn design between the staysis and the porn i cant see a great deal of difference and the staysis definatley array nicley... confusing or am i seeing things in the wrong light? |

getting back on to this as Ive just realized i already own the compression drivers, at a push could you use these two a side, as my other option realistically is an mt12" section which to my eyes has a very similar problem of not having enough length to control dispersion enough to array. any thoughts?

No need to fly porns really, I only see them as a one a side mid/top solution. If your rig is bigger than that then you probably want a different cab.

I would think not, although if the cabs are coming from the same production house as the Stasys 3, I would think the cost of getting it added may be less than doing it for yourself (if they 'could' provide with flyware)

The price of a fully built cab versus components is so small that you'd be a bit silly to think about building unless you you REALLY enjoy the building. By the time you factor in additional parts, paint, grille, etc its looking a very close run thing on price, not to mention time. |
