exactly what i thought- IMO the porn horn thing is a pretty badly thought out bit of marketing. they look pretty damn sexy as is and apparently the sound does the real talking so why photoshop (poorly) a second rate clothed porn actress onto the pics?!?  i say this as a red blooded male who has no problem with ogling pics of filthy naked women on the internetz. |

no, though i have found american retail companys to be the most shockingly unhelpful and wreckeless towards their (international) customers.
whilst some uk companys leave me wondering how their sales staff manage to keep them in business at all.. the us seems to take the biscuit. ..when i tried to buy a canon camera from over there (before uk prices dropped); rang everyone and got nowhere; with them all demanding i shill out my 'next' creditcard (what, you americans have more than -one- as standard ! ;) ) ..and fill that with crap i didnt ask for too. ..and also on meerly asking to get a requote from an electronics surplus supplier; as i wanted to buy MORE "..no sir, we wont (ahem (waste our time)) do that" ..i was stunned. i have however found some of the industrial suppliers to be exceptionally helpful & professional. dealing with crystalfontz amoungst others was exceptional, even by the uk's lax standards. it does escape me however, how i dont hear about more sales staff being fired {upon}. |
