Anyone know if Fabric still has WSX's in 'em ? as the yearly BT X-mas do is to be held there this year as there's no more Turnmills!

Quote Known as a "bodysonic" dancefloor, sections of the floors are attached to 400 bass transducers emitting bass frequencies of the music being played, allowing clubbers to feel the music through bass frequencies transmitted into their skeletons via their feet.

Did this bodysonic dancefloor really work ? Is it still there ?

Not really, the V18-1000 is the guy, because the high BL and lowish Vas rein in the Xmax displacement at high SPL/power levels.

A few drivers will sound warmer and maybe drop deeper, but at nowhere near the SPL level attainable with the v18-1k.

pd1850's dont fit. whereas v18-1000's do. been seriously impressed with them loaded with the voids, though as paul says he's impressed with them with celestions and originally they had rcfs. the choice,as they say, is yours...

Don't do that, you'll eventually blow up a very expensive driver.

V1200 cone was not designed to survive forces in a long front loaded horn. And T/S parms are not right for WSX front chamber/throat.

PD1850, V18-1000, 18sound 18LW1400, B&X 18TBX100 could be worth trying.

[QUOTE=AgentRied]Heres some photos from a project weve just finished, 2 WSX loaded with the 18 inch Void 1000.

Tested them out this weekend and gave them a good spanking, 1 clone flanked by 2 originals with 2 WC8s per stack, the void loaded ones were noticably louder and certainly held their own

Hi mate was wondering whether you had the cutting list for these truly wonderful cabinets?
Many regards, joseph oxbury

What drivers do you use in your WSX's ?

We used 6 of these for a show at our club, and all I can say, honestly, these but 4 Turbosound TSW-718's to shame. The WSX put out a LOT more bass and went lower louder. If you can build this, you will not be disappointed, they are one of the best sounding cabinets i've ever heard, and I work with strictly JBL, EV, Turbosound, EAW, and Martin Audio.
