just did a sim using the inputs for horn resp[onse posted I believe by bitzo on the data base thread.
basicaly take the 1850 horn inputs.....
divide by 3 and times by two on everything [we are planning on using the 12" sb30 just for horn response modeling purposes]
errrrr and now sim a stack of six [ie times all inputs except lengths by 6 and set driver arrangement to 2 in series and 3 parralel]
now sim this in 2pi with the sb30 12" by pd..........
errrrrrr am i missing something? 65ish hz< say 180hz seems prety impressive for 6 drivers costin say £85 each and needing say 3 channels of 1kw at 4ohm amping.....
have I missed something? or have I stumbled upon an idea for smaller [ie large small/medium small ish rig] type systems where 3 channels of 1kw at 4ohm 60<160ish hz with say a pair of 15/18 reflex to cover that last octave and say a pair of x10 could be nice for a small multi purpose system?
sory that graph looks far toooooo good for how much itd cost to build :P
any one else? [even if no one has any input but sees what I just saw.. Im sure if its as goos as I see someone would have done it allready...]

not by me, I only copy the HR input's screenshot from kpippen. Hr now have the offset arrangement so should be better modify the input in that way.

yeah Im using horn response v28
still trying to work out how to use the offset a rrangement, I always thought the horn length was more liuke 1.5/1.6 meters than 2.1 as well.
but serously tho the result looks ni ce :P
how would you go about modding the inputs to suite the offset arrangement?

now I can't fell confortable using HR. Akabak is really better to resize/tuning cab, you have to make a dynamic model of cab and akabak model the horn for you. something like my cubo12 script.

Are you using that crap plots for a straight horn? I did once, but with my own measurements form the plan, it looked like hell, if using one cab.

I didn't mean to be rude or anything :)

Here is my hornresp numbers for 1850 and maybe if you scale it down you could get more accurate curves

S1=660.00
S2=1044.00
Con=41.40
S2=1044.00
S3=1770.00
Con=64.30
S3=1770.00
S4=2760.00
Con=27.40
S4=2760.00
S5=4614.00
Con=23.00
Vrc=40.00
Lrc=27.00
Fr=0.00
Tal=0.00
Vtc=23000.00
Atc=1800.00

I think that it sounds like a cool idea to use 12" in those!
Good luck!
