this way you can get the jigsaw in there...... just take your time....... as you will be doing it free hand with the jigsaw in free air..... i.e. base not touching wood.....

can you using a jigsaw turn jig saw upside down and slowly notch out loads of lines 5mm deep then use a very sharp chisel to knock them out..... hope you get what i mean........

Otherwise an angle grinder with an very low grit wheel. (<25)
I think you can also get wood wheels.
