New to this site, but very old to Turbo. Bought my first TMS-4 pair in 1986 (?) or 7(?).
And thats my problem. Getting replacement parts. Need to replace a CD102 diaphragm. I've done this in the past with RD102, or RD 102 equivalent. Now I am having a real problem sourcing them. The one I just ordered on Amazon doesn't fit. Anyone have a line on good sources for ancient Turbo parts? |

The CD 102 was a Beyma CP-350, but note that it was the 16 ohm version (not 8). You should be able to get diaphragms, but they are likely to be from after-market manufacturers as the originals have been discontinued. For information: CD-101 = Beyma CP 300 CD-102 = Beyma CP350-16 CD-182 = Beyma CP350-8 DC-103 = Electrovoice DH3 |

Thanks for the input. Definitely is the Beyma CP350-16.
The aftermarket place I bought the replacement from, which looks like the only seller on Amazon or Ebay, sent one that did not fit. Hoping they just sent an incorrect aftermarket version, and that they'll send the correct one upon return. Again, thanks for your help. Im not ready to get rid of these boxes! |

Time to update my previous message, the last line should have read "CD-103" but you probably knew that anyway... It's worth keeping yout TMS4's working, a classic one-box system from the boys at Partridge Green! (I worked there for a while). |

Thinking back to when we had loads of Turbosound---we came across a problem fitting some replacement HF diaphragms to TSE111 and TMS4s whereby we had to remove certain locating pins on the diaphragm mounting flange so that they would fit into the driver correctly---IIRC they were either genuine Beyma or aftermarket parts that we had the trouble with.
