What do you think of the M-12 Wedges? Are they foam front or grill front?

Almost you might need an extra couple of projectors.

Man
you would walk outside and commit suicide after visiting any venue here. - Just so you would't have to think about the shittiness anymore..

@mike, they are the old ones originally built for SBD with foam fronts (half of them don't even have the passive/biamp switch)

and they were beautiful, so much gain before feedback and so clean

Never seen Coda and budget in the same post!
And that lighting rig isn't messing around either!

That Samson S Zone is a horrible box of tricks tho lol

They don't need bi-amping... with that crossover :)

A lot more discussion on this than I thought.

In answer to some of the comments:

We were fortunate with coda to be at the right place at the right time to strike a good deal and have let them use the venue to demo the rig to potential customers. All in all the coda folk are a delight to work with.
The lighting rig (mac 500's & 600's)was bought second hand from a much larger venue doing a massive upgrade and wanted shot of their older stock.

@Audio Habit; for the amount of work that has gone into the build, procurement and negotiation I think it's taken several years off my lifeConfused

@Flip C; Whilst the venues have been upgraded to a point a rig is only as good as it's operator, I still mix gigs for other venues who are much smaller and are literally mic to desk to FOH with a bit of processing. There's always lots of tweaks to be made on any system and they can be killer, I just got lucky where I work and had a manager who was into the idea of trying to develop it all (although my wish list is nuts where we are at is a lot better than where the systems started in my opinion).

@Sam V; you're right the AV is seriously lacking and is next on the list, we nearly had an excellent deal on LED panels but it fell through (not all of these projects get off the ground but I need to work out other options) .

@tall_mike; Love the EM m12's properly tight and punchy. I'd like to develop the EM side of things more and have two of the Rooms EM exclusive just as I'd like the auditorium Coda exclusive.

@dylan-penguinmedia; The s-zone and quite a few other bits in there I'd love to upgrade but and hopefully will in the near future. (keep your eyes open and there might be an s-zone with your name on it haha)LOL

you still need to get a couple of LA8-subs to beef it up a bit around 80-150hz, and get rid of the main halls limiters, they are just set slightly too low for the big nights

It's the 200 cycles mark that needs to be pushed as 80_150 is covered by the subs.
Limiter is set to 105db which is inline with the eu db laws for noise at work levels.

But you're right, can never have enough sub :)

I think it was a bit lower than that from memory, it just needed that little bit more low end to really bring kick drums to life, and give them impact instead of just flapping trousers

Haha noooo! We had one out of an install, and when it sold on eBay I almost delivered it to the guy myself to make sure it went!

Who were you dealing with from Coda? Was it Gareth or one of the guys from Adlib?

Looking good Thumbs Up - what limiting do you use to keep it at your 105? I may have a suggestion on that front...
