Im not sure of the exact X1 tunings so,

As a comparison,400w input, BP6 jbl2242

200L 32hz
56L   82hz
26hz = 9mm excursion.

4th order highpass at 26hz works out just fine.Even a 2nd order works fine at this power level.

Bear in mind spl is in the mid 120s at this stage.

For home cinema use you could probably adjust the X1 to go a even lower at the expense of a little efficiency.

Yeh you could extend the ports externally. Quite the opposite to those generic  10"1cubic ft 'ht subwoofers' ehehe
