What du you mean, the BM X3C?
In case of the X3C/X2C the rear of the driver is in an sealed enclosure like in an typical flh... isn't it?

crazy stuff.

does that slot work in a similar way to when you blow over the top of a milk bottle and make the air resonate inside it? but with a driver doing the blowing (and sucking) and that big front chamber is the bottle. I don't actually know, just an idea.

really really want to build a pair of imperials at some point. im amazed that no dub rigs have found/built these yet, well maybe they did back in the day, but not recently as far as im aware.
