LOL Now thats a proper piece of retro Pulsar.
 
I've got an old catalogue/brochure stashed away which describes the history of Pulsar, and I'm 99% sure they actually use the expression 'home made' to describe some of their very early project builds. I'll see if I can dig out ans scan the page sometime.
 
Nice old piece of retro at 99p - will be interesting to see what it eventually goes for.
