I tried it. Never managed to get it to work properly* so gave up and bought a MacBook pro, dual partitioned it, stuck XP on the second partition and got rid of my (pc) laptop. Best decision I ever made.
* - mainly stupid errors and out of range memory things. The main problem was when it went wrong it would also lock up the host pc! |

I dual boot a PC as a "hackingtosh" and Win 7 box (finally stopped using XP on one machine as a test, Win 7 currently looks like everything Vista could have been, I am well impressed) but I have been told you can download a completely rigged OSx Virtual machine from the web, I haven't even got a round to trying this but I was going to get VM of OSx Server to try a few thing out before I finally condem OS X as a useless network client....
Whilst I don't advocate piracy, www.torrentpond.com may be a good start, I am guess you will only get a VMware image not a MS virtual so you you will need to get hold a suitable VM host prog.

correct me if wrong, but dont you require a Unix emulator installed first on a PC to even consider running a Mac OS software on one?
Id be interested to know how this would work also, as it seems that Mac systems where very peculiar about runining their software on Traditionally non-mac systems. |
