Yo, in the manual the voltage gain just says 91x standard.......wtf does this mean? what is standard.....im under the impression its about 42dB...but not sure

Yes, and some sort or signal generator. Inject around 1V into the amp and measure the output. If you don´t have a generator you could use 50Hz from the mains (Smile) with a small transformer, say 6V or 9V (raw AC, not rectified) - and a couple of resistors to divide the voltage, eg 10k and 1k.

Formula is simple:

Voltage gain = 20 x log(Vout/Vin) in dB´s

If the manual says its 91x, then that's 39.18dB voltage gain. There are lots of calculators on the web, just google it.
