DE250? That's not a compression driver...

....THAT'S a compression driver LOL

No, that's a tool for removing the skin from audience members at the back of the venue!

Jeezus H ...  I'm assuming you don't mount that on the back of a plastic horn then?

Do you regularly find assorted workshop tools and children's bicycles stuck to the outside of the cab?  That is a beast.

I heard a lovely BMS coaxial compression driver this week too ... sat it on top of our double 18's and it sounded lovely, just needs a couple of decent 10" horn loaded mids I reckon ... wasn't exactly cheap though.

At 15.5kg it needs support bracing in the cabinet, and a substantial horn..

Would possibly suggest some kind of bracing but actually seems to fit quite nicely with some of the P.Audio horns, they seem fairly sturdy.

By bracing do you mean scaffolding?

If you've ever repaired a horn flare where a JBL 2445 etc has clean snapped the throat off, you'll understand the need for bracing!

It'll be fine until someone puts the cab down a bit too quickly!

JBL 2445 is over 14kg too. And is almost 10" across.

And then there's the DH1A, 9 inches by 5,5 or so

I was going to say.  JBL 2445,2446 and 2447 are huge heavyweight beasts.  Ive had to take a few of them out before and back in with speaker laying on it's back and trying to not to trap my fingers in the horn when dropping them back into cab.
