Bit of messing around suggests f3 at about 80Hz, sensitivity just over 105dB (2Pi space)

I'm modellling using the B&C 15NDL76 but the PD154 gives similar results.
Hornresp shows a sharp rolloff at 300Hz but walt suggested 400Hz as the upper cut-off? I'm inclined to ignore hornresp's results at the upper end because I find it hard to believe that any 15inch driver (especiially a neo one with a rising response) in a straight horn will lose volume so low down.
I've sent walt a PM asking for advice but I haven;t heard anythuing back yet. I'm unlikely to use the cab below 100 but I suspect it'll play nicely below it. When I have time I'll model it as a bandpass box and see what happens (small front chamber with large port?)

Hello Biotec,
As I have mentioned several times on this forum, this specific kick-bin design did not perform exactly the way I had hoped for. I have given you mine ideas on how to improve this bin while keeping the lay-out and dimensions the same, but in no way this is a guarantee your bin will give the results you hope for, but we will see what it does. I think you have about 75% chance this bin turns out well. Important: use some kind of wadding in the rear chamber of the 2x15". You have to prevent sound reflecting from the backwall trough the thin cone into the horn.
As for the upper frequency range, the 400Hz value I got from AJ-Horn. Of course this is driver dependent.
Best regards,
Walt

Haha, that 2x15" looks like there's enough wasted space to build acces panels / doors on both sides of the bin and store your speaker cables and stuff like that in there.
