Hi,

With the X1 laying dow as it should, with both ports rising from the floor, can recessed handles be put on it's left and right sides. They would be centered with the upper handle edge about 4 inches from the top. Would they disrupt port flow?

Thanks

In my opinion no. You can stand an obese woman 6" infront of your bandpass boxes(happened at the last gig-as well as some rather fine  girls too )and hear no perceptible change in sound. The handles themselves(steel I guess?) will not protrude very far into the cab(seeing as the wood is 3/4 already) and as a % of port volume will make minimal difference. Go ahead and stick em in!
