I have a spec sheet printed by EV on the way to me now.  I'll post it when it arrives.  Keep in mind these are PA boxes, not audiophile stuff.  I've actually run a curve on one box with an RTA, and it's good to 1.2k at the 3dB down point over a horizontal of about 100 degrees.  Didn't check the vertical, since I'll be stacking them, which will tend to narrow it a lot.

Getting an even RTA plot is not the only consideration though, the actual sound quality can be severely compromised by the curves.  My subs look good on paper to over 200hz but don't sound nice all the way up there.

You are absolutely right, measurements don't equal hearing.  BTW, what subs are you using?

A Beyma design dual 18" 6th order bandpass/manifold design.  Don't go spectacularly low but give good output from a very compact box.  try a search for combinations of 'beyma', 'bp6' and 'manifold' for a number of references and pics over the last year oer 2
