You won't get much kick out of the X1, as it is designed to be crossed over at no more than 80hz.
You will need to use a 15in folded horn like the HD15 alongside the X1 if you are going to play a lot of dance / techno type music.
 
If you are just playing RnB type music that has a lot of sub, and not much kick, the X1 / X15 combination sounds awesome.

At a recent bass shootout, Mal X took his 4 X1s (loaded with the V18 driver) and got over 144db @ 1 metre.

Impressive.
