Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of building a X12 with two Eminence DELTA 12A and was thinking of the Celestion CDX14-3060 1.4" compression driver and B&C ME90 horn. This is my first box, and price + availability are my constraints (I want to feel less sad if something breaks). Needs to be loud enough for <100 people. But a few questions:
Sorry if these are stupid questions and belong in the newbie section. I thought posting them here might be better since it's X12 related. http://www.eminence.com/speakers/speaker-detail/?model=Delta_12A http://celestion.com/product/125/cdx143060/ http://www.bcspeakers.com/products/horn/1-4/me90 Edited by lessismore - 29 April 2014 at 7:25am |

We use the delta 12A in our X12s and they run up to 1.9kHz and honestly sound fine, we run them up to a BMS 4538 1" compression driver as well.
I would say they could probably sound a bit better, but it does the job! |
