Am totally clueless when it comes to guessing weight...
Anyone know the approx kg weight of an x15? Want to select the right tripod.. Cheers

If you're going to be tripod mounting an X15, build it smaller!  The X15 is a bit big for what it is, can be made more compact without sacrificing much performance.

I built some XM15s exactlt to plan and made them pole mount...work nicely, too...
I'd reckon they are about 20-25Kg each

My 13-laminate ply must have been heavier than yours.  The XM15 tops 30kg, if I remember correctly.

i built some Ev style t251+ from 18 marine ply about the same size as the xm15 but trapezoidal, it weighs nothing about 10 kg? add your neo drivers the hole cab loaded weighs around 15-17kg -which is nothing!
 
If your carpetting your top cabs go for marine ply, but if your painting go for birch or mdf
