I am looking to build the Cubo18 and also the X15 to go with these, I would like to make the X15 the same width as the Cubo18 how easy to do with the tunings of the X15 be?

The Original drivers for the X15 are no longer available, so you would need to model any replacement in something like WinISD to check suitability anyway.
So, given you'll need to work out the internal volume of your reshaped version to do that modelling anyway, I'd say checking tuning as you go would be very little extra work indeed.
