I am really trying to get my head around how to work out what amp to use with what driver. I've heard 2 x RMS and that when people have done this they have blown drivers.
I really don't know what to do. The query i have is would a bridged Crown XLS602 (1200w) power a V18 1000 effectively? Sorry for the lack of IQ but i am a bit confused. Thanks |

We run a bridged RMX2450 into a pair, 1200W each, no problems yet....

right so you are meaning that you've wired them up in parallel and are creating 8 ohms and two lots of 1250w.
good idea but for the same price you could buy 2 XLS 602's and they won't be put under as much strain as that,if that is what you have done. |

Was more relating to the amount of power than anything, anyway your plan seems fine.
