Looking good!

Another plus point for using the router to round off the edges is you'll find the paint will adhere much better to them, than if you don't do it.

I'm loading the 8" with the B&C 8PE21, B&C DE500 on the compression and the B&C 15NW76 for the 15's. There all the recommended drivers apart from Instead of having the 18sound on the 15's went for the B&C instead.

I've currently got four stasys 5's which will be sitting under them but am looking at getting rid of them and getting some mini scoops instead, shame the scoop shoutout was cancelled cus I was looking forward to hearing some of them

A few updated pics, took advantage of the sunny whether and gave them a nice finish, that tuff cab paint is so easy to work with and gives a very nice finish. Will be loading in the drivers tomorrow.

Can you explain the routing done within the horns "enclosure/chamber" ?

Did you find the driver or horn didn't fit?

Nothing gets by you lot!

The Horn is quite big. To make it fit the kit included some rebates to fit snugly.

Everything is a bit of a tight fit with this speaker I've found, there's just enough room to fit the 15" drivers in, I doubt very much that you could fit a driver in there that isn't a neodymium one without extending that read chamber by an inch or two.

It is rather a large horn and with the driver fitted on the back of it as well its quite a beast, I'm surprised looking at it that it actually fits inside that chamber at the top of the cab but it does slot in nicely.

With regards to the colour of the compression flare, I don't know what to do now you've given the idea of painting it the same colour as the 8". How about a vote, leave it as it is or spray it luminous yellow, most votes wins.

Will the 8" get its own small back chamber as per the original design?

Best regards,

That's a very good point, just looked on the plans and can see it there.

Will it make much difference to it if it doesn't have its own back chamber acoustically wise
