I have 2 questions:
  • How much watts i will need to power X-tro equipped with 2 x Eminence Kappa?
  • It's X-tro (with Em. Kappa) suitable for full-range use?
Thanks, PaZe.

Hello,

The X-tro was designed as a high power hornloaded top. It is not suited for fullrange use, well we tried it and it didn't sound to bad but I would certainly not use it that way.

The Eminence Kappa 15 is rated 450W RMS. It has a 76mm coil. I would say this speaker is happy with anything between 400-800W as long as you do not clip the amplifier.

Best regards,

Walt
