Afternoon fellow speaker fanatics :D
I'm looking for any user feedback regarding the Yamaha emx 300. Known faults to look for Amplifier section quality Preamp quality Noise issues Build quality Etc The mixer I'm looking at buying is listed at $200 aud I appreciate it's an ancient cheap powered mixer , How does it compare with equal units ? $200 about rite ? Has it got a nice warm sound like a lot of older desks albeit a bit noisey due to age ? Any feedback appreciated Thanks |

Don't do it. Power amplifiers belong inside speakers or in a rack, they have absolutely no business inside a mixer. What you will eventually figure out is that these desks are all much too limited in terms of routing, as soon as you want to use a sub with your system for example a powered mixer makes your life miserable. Get a passive mixer instead and start building a sound system from the 21st century.
