I ordered some replacement resistors for the zobel networks in an amp from a local electrical wholesaler and i am unsure if they have supplied the correct part,
the specified resistors are 10r 2.5w but the ones they have supplied are 10r 3w, the supplied ones also have an extra band
originals are brown - black - black - gold
replacements are brown - black - black -gold - black
the guy on the counter assures me they are the correct ones but like i said i am unsure so your advise would be appreciated, thanks.

its only the resistance that matters, and aslong as they are the same power or more you should be fine, as the one you said was 2.5 watt and they gave you a 3watt.
