That horisontal cable isn't carrying the weight, those (near)vertical tethers are.

Definitely not bad! Em Acoustics latest Halo Compact Line array. The fact that only that is needed to fill the Royal Albert Hall is very very impressive indeed. i heard it very quietly at the stage electrics exhibition in Cardiff recently and the clarity was second to none! That was just with a Cd though, still havent heard it live yet.

Haha, that certainly is Halo Compact. Covered the best part of 5,000 people in the Albert Hall with that rig (obviously with the aid of a little bit of front fill!), the level was averaging about 110db at FOH apparently with much more in the tank, but being a classical gig they're not gonna run it too loud.
The engineer at the RAH said it was the best sounding system they've ever had at the hall. |
