Compact 12 inch bass

   I've seen a few systems recently where the pair of tops fit into the horn mouth of a single bass bin. That seems to me to be the ultimate in compact transportation for a similar system, if you can heft the weight!

	I use 12" drivers in my house system, JBL2206 to be exact but there are eight of them running off a QSC RMX4050 it hustles. Edited by colint - 28 September 2025 at 9:07pm

	Have seen ohm trs in a kitchen a few times in the past in a red brick terrace. HK impact has a 12 on bass was very good at a house party. Modern 12 designs can be super efficiency theses days. Winter project for me will be fane 18xb in a b&c sub 18 and pair of Martin aq8 on mid top. Will be good for a mini system. I doubt it will end up in a kitchen or house party. Might end as DJ monitors a couple of time lol.

	Incidentally the bass speakers in my post above are for sale if anyone's interested? Each box is loaded with a pair of JBL2206 drivers (8 ohms) I'm looking for £1000 for them but they could do with some tidying up as these were instal boxes. The mid highs are not for sale Im based in south east London
