shame bout that sn12b - sounds great in our porn horns!

Yea, the middle piece is just to hold the phase bung. Its just an idea and i'm going to try a few different ideas out. I want something that can be built fairly quick and simple without a laythe or hours of sanding/planing.

The alpha 6 models better than the 8 with higher efficiency and smoother response. but i'l try both - the truth will be in the building and measuring.

Hi daveyt. I have been using the 8mr on a large fiberglass horn for the high mid in my concert mid hi,s 700-2.5hz with great results.Very cheap(20 quid)actively driven two to a side on chamelean dx600.very loud clean no failures in 6 years.
