In this case it's not about knowing how to address the fixture (which is relatively simple binary), its how to set the correct mode, which is generally proprietary.

Oh, I know its handy, its been on my phone for years
![]() Problems with LED pars tend to be totally to do with different implementations though, with funny modes on dip 10, or non-standard numbers of dips like 12, or as with mine, 10+4. And you can know how to set binary addresses with your eyes closed, but if you don't know the super-sekrit combo to access the DMX mode, then you're screwed. 3ch dmx? do you mean address 3 or the par only uses 3 channels?
do as i said and dip 1 on all others off... it will then have address 0001 on your controller and then go nuts

From the manual there appears to be only one dmx mode, which uses 7 channels, selected when dip switches 10, 11 and 12 are set to off. The atributes of the fixture are -
1 - Red 2 - Green 3 - Blue 4 - Macro 5 - Strobe 6 - Mode 7 - Master Dimmer so if your unit is addressed at 1, on your controller you need ch 7 at full to get anything out of the units. |

I gave up in the end as I couldn't get it to work with my cheapo controller (ADJ RGB3C) so just used the dipswitches and stuck them on red. Interesting though that their light ouput isn't any greater than the CPC Pulse Eco Pars.

have you tried wacking all the faders up and hitting the auto button?
that controller looks a pain in the a$$... im sure its more a missunderstanding of the controller then something wrong with addressing the PAR cans... i just read through the manual. http://www.americandj.com/pdffiles/rgb_3c.pdf wat a pain.... can somebody shed some light here for simplistic use?

also by the looks of things it only controls 1 (bank of) fixture(s) so you'd have to put all the PARs on address (dip 1 on only) and they will all do what ever the controller tells them (or stick it on auto)
... i think... lol
