internal would be 574mm for a 610mm cab

Tre4u2nv will probably be along in a min and tell you how the standard (first drawing) scaled up Fanes I had sounded

Here's an easier one.....if you shorten/adjust the bottom of chamber panel that is now 209mm to 123mm wide this will give you a rear chamber size of 58 litres minus the driver and a throat area of 780. I would favour that mod. Thumbs Up see below. This could be used on both deeper and standard scoop if newbies don't understand.

SBC who is Saul has just had some Fane scoops built. Don't suppose he would tell us what mod he has done but it would be interesting if there are any of the above been usedThumbs UpWink

aha, I mised that one, superb! I like tight cmaber and thorat scoop sound. PD1850 loaded. In this drawing I would go for rear panel 500mm, second panel 500mm and 10 degress slope = slower expansion. SPL guaranteed!

This is not my design Junior. It wasn't really to be adjusted in that way. It's already a proven design as I used to use them 22 years ago. To make the adjustment of 10 degree slope that you mentioned you may as well design a new scoop for SPThumbs Up

I had 16 of these around 1989. I had great pleasure with them. They were loaded with the Fane 400 Colossus. Pretty scary when all 16 were running....ask Tre4u2nv LOL

Anyways, I have drawn up 2 versions. One as standard and the other with a double baffle and segmented scoop.

Second version is also slightly deeper, as well as a deeper chamber to receive deeper drivers

Width should be 61cm (24'')... do the cab wider to gain a larger chamber

chamber is 57 litres without the driver

Handle placements and cut off rear for castors is up to you to do

I'm 100% sure that with the Royals and the new monster Fanes these will sing

  EnjoyTongue

Thanks for the plan. Please could you re-do dimensions. At present it is very sloppy and hard to read.

Soundchippy. Bit confused as to what file to save them in. I'm coming from autocad - copy paste to paint, then saving. First time I saved them before the adjustment they came out quite sharp. Saved them again and the came out blurry as you can see. Any suggestions?
