Hello VPAS,

Hornresp indicates 5.0 acoustical ohms X 0.2763

Hope this helps!

Is that for 4 ohm drivers? I've been assuming a 10r load per cab when loaded with 8r drivers.

that what i was thinking which would be beneficial if i go with the i-tech's because of the output drop between 4 and 2 ohms, mite be able to squeeze enough power for 3 a side

Hi guys,

The plot I posted earlier was for the acoustical impedance of a Punisher loaded with the Ciare 12.00SW 8-ohm driver... Here is what Hornresp says about Acoustical Impedance under the help menu...Smile

Hope this helps!

Hello ToastyGoast,

Your pretty close to being correct if you have 8-ohms figured into your assumption (8 + 1.3815 = 9.3815)... The actual RE value for the Ciare 12.00SW 8-ohm coil is 6.73-ohms...Smile

I think the bit we're interested in is electrical impedance.

Nice one.
(don't why I invloved myself in this thread, anyway...)

Is it possible to change the y scale so it only reads 0-20 ohms? bit hard to read it as it is.

alright mate,

Search the forum a bit, i always thought the 8r ciares ended up showing the amp 6r on a punisher because of the way the driver is loaded, so 3 in parallel would be 2r shown the amp.

Hello Matt,

I could be on the wrong page here,...but I'd imagine that it would show the amp 6.73 ohms NOT including the insertion loss of the speaker cable...
