I think he means the amp is not putting out any lows?

I assume its a 6000DSP version. Did you buy it new or used?

If used then maybe someone had it set up to power mid tops

This is a new unit. I set my input with two XLR from my mixer board to the A/B amp inputs on the amp. Set the stereo/mono swithch to stereo and the full range/crossover switch to crossover. manual says 1ooHz and below outputs from channel B. That is not happening. I am still getting full range with the switch in either position. Bi-amp diagram shows 1+and1- is for top cabs and 2+and2- is for sub freq. rewired a spekon connector to the 2+2-to 1/4" configuiration and the channel had no output. I am using a two wire spekon to 1/4" for my outputs. Confusing with the biamp configure pic on the A channel. The way the manual reads the amp should have output A for tops and B output for subs but that is not what I am getting.

Would this not be better off in the newbie discussions rather than the advanced?

Set it to full range then use an active crossover inbetween, the built in ones are shabby anyway

If you're connecting a sub to output speakon ChB you should be wiring to +1 -1

The +2 -2 is if you want to bi-amp a single speaker with a 4-core speakon lead in which case you use ChA outlet.

This is explained on the back of the amp panel.

Yes that is on my list, Thank you. I am going to use A input in mono with the crossover switch on and see if that works. Thanks for the reply! I do have an external crossover to use but trying to cut back a little equipment on the stage. I hope that this amp will respond as I expect.
thanks again!

Hello, I recently purchased a 6000DSP. My plan was to Bi-amp using the internal crossover (subs in channel A/Highs in channel B) with 2 pole Speakon cables but it didn't work in BiAMP 1. If you do that in BiAMP 2 it works great! I ran my setup all day in 100 degree weather, in the sun without a wimper.
