1998 Ford Transit 100 with all the extras. C/L, A/C, Electric Mirrors, Heated front screen
Shame about the 76HP engine but she's done 262k miles and still going strong (well, maybe not the bodywork!) |

1993 Transit. only done 96k miles and I'm the second owner.
I did have to remake the wheel arches last year from ply and wood filler. Everyone laughs and says my van won't rust, but it may get woodworm. I painted the wheel arches so that they are not obviously wooden.

I just 'adjusted' my wheel arches with a hammer to make it pass its MOT!
I reckon with these old transits, if you keep driving them you'll be left sitting on a bare chassis cos the mechanicals last forever but the body will have long rusted and fallen off! |

Xlogic what year is your Nissan?
We used to have one of those, went like a fecking rocket, about a year after we got ours they started to de-tune the engines on them, and we went for a drive on the 300ZX which was supposed to be better a few years later and it was terrible by comparison. Stu |

Just sold my merc 310d van (360,000 miles) with 100 horses and a 3 litre straight 5 to make way for a merc 814 truck with a 6 litre straight 6 and 140 horses.
runnaround is a 96 pug 106 that I was given, it has f-all miles on it and is by far the fastest thing I have ever driven. I'm of the inclination that if you can't fix it with a lump hammer and an adjustable wrench it's the wrong vehicle for me.

Ex BT SWB transit 99 with the inherent rust problems but only 54K on the clock! Also comes with the optional step below the back doors, and strangely a diesel fired water heater and pump for the now removed sink in the back.
