Hi all my first post here so please bare with me.  I have some off cuts of 18mm birch and really want to use them up. Unfortunately the cuts are just a bit small for getting a cubo kick 15 made out of them so I thought I’d do the 12s. No problem. Didn’t see until after that the cube kick 12 uses 15mm ply, not 18mm, thus changing the dimensions of the plan. I’m a proper newbie and basically wanted to know if/how I can change the plan to 18mm without effecting the final output/sound quality!?!
I thought about adding the few mm difference to width and height of the box to try and keep the internal dimensions as close as possible to the original but feel like it’s all off. Is it worth changing/can it work? or should I just get some 15mm and save these bits.

Thanks in advance

i wouldnt change dimensions at all, extra 3mm of wood will not make any audible difference.

There are upsides of using thicker wood, i personaly preffer 18mm wood for any cabs as its mutch better to work with
