Hey,

Did anyone ever Build the 18" Super scooper with an Thomann the Box 18-500?
Or did anyone calculate if that Thing plays nice in the Superscoop?

If you want wider choice of speakers, built this instead, (double braced front panel version, with angles)

Also is better getting used, but top quality drivers, as opposed to cheap new.

The Thomman will be a cheap Chinese driver.

Have to second lev here......

With the current lumber prices, considering all the effort, and almost 200€ price for the mentioned suboptimal (qts 0,4 very bad for scoops) driver, really not worth cheaping out on the driver. Upgrading to a proper, useable driver would cost 20-25% extra on the total cost, and for 30-40% extra you could get a premium driver that will scorch the earth! (High grade b&c or 18sound etc.)

Save your pennies and go all in. Plenty of recent threads and advice here in the scoop forum, lev has become slightly more generous with the advice recently Clap

You don't even need to dig that much deep......  Big smile
