Have a look at ETF. It has a LF mode that delivers very nice results
for measuring subs up to 150Hzish and it also shows you any potential
resonances (generally accompanied by dips in FR)

And i'm assuming thats with PD154's loaded. Interesting to see that dip at 125hz. I found thru experimenting that a reasonably wide Q BP EQ cut of 2 or 3db at around 120hz gave a large increase in perceived bottom end whilst buying another led's worth of headroom at the amp. Seems thats what's needed to flatten the response so i'm glad my ears are working right! Seems 63hz is the ideal cutoff to an X1! Nice one Dom |
