Happy noise making :)

Same as you I got confused had to Google the 'newer turbo tms'

I think the last  proper turbo horns was the tsw  218? I might be wrong.

It went to that sounds like turbo sound Tongue to is that .. em what's that Ouch! In the flick of the behrignger switch at a time when everyone wanted line array turbo had aspect. No one wanted them point source.

Now I see aspects everywhere

+1

Putting in a (supposedly) higher power driver, that will then just overheat & lose 10dB due to thermal compression (very small cab) is just stupid! Use the most efficient driver, which is most probably the original - or maybe something like the JBL 2242. You also won't need to find some amp with silly watts. They'll run on any decent amp with a bit of headroom.

I already tried with one Faital Pro 18HP1030 (had only one, so one cab) and was pleased so was looking for another one. But then I found the VOIDs not so far from where I live, and those 2 were a lot cheaper than only one Faital Pro...

And in case the VOIDs are not good enough, I still have 4 WSX cabinets so I can use them in there. Downside is that I need to find another pair of V18s and those don't come up for sale that often where I live unfortunately

I'm happy with them and curious how the VOIDs will sound in the TMS Low Tongue

I like them, they go loud and clear. Only downside is they only play from 180Hz. Here are some pics of the horns

I managed to get the VOID V18 in theTMS Lows and it sounded good. I didn't use the Admark, but a Powersoft M50. I'll try to test with the Admark asap and do some measurements!
