Cool idea & thx! I'm sure we could come up with something much more sophisticated for funky bar outfitting We also made a home DJ desk a while back, here's the photos of the finished build;

Rossco....Nice set up/DJ stand.
I'd like to see the CDJs mounted at 45' though...and raised higher, so you can fit more stuff in. Looks like you'd struggle to accomodate a 4 deck n fx set or a live dance act.... Farking lovelly new set up though, don't get me wrong :-) (nice Scorpions too!!) Edited by Strange Daze - 14 March 2011 at 4:36pm |

Hi Strange Daze!
The DJ booth (the one with the Scorpions) was originally designed so that it could fit on it a mixer, 2x CDJ's and 2x SL1210's all together. If there's additional equipment required, then we can use a deck stand (like the one shown below) as you suggested...so this can provide extra room when it's needed. We've had a number of live acts play on it and not yet had any real issues with space. I think maybe the photo makes it look a bit smaller than it actually is. Anyway I'm pleased to hear that you like our table & monitors ![]() Cheers, Ross ![]() Edited by RosscoPico - 15 March 2011 at 1:34pm |
