Sounds to me like there is some confusion between push-pull using two
drivers in a double cabinet but one reversed to cancel non-linearities
in the motor and isobarik compound loading (two drivers stuck together,
usually face to face).
The former will perform like a normal twin driver cabinet but benefit from some reduction in distortion. The latter roughly behaves as one driver with a stronger motor, lower resonance and is described above by LunchieTey. Sorry for the spam if nobody was actually confused on this!!! |
