Standard measure for the sheet in North America is 4 X 8.
For cost saving, when possible use a standard stuff that is mass produced.

No, they both are standard sizes amongst many others, but 4x8 is more common.

If so... then why the cost is 3 X higher than a "common" 4X8 sheet?
Also, why isn't a 5X10 a shelf item here in South Ontario, Canada?
Why is that for most hardware stores / lumber yards takes a special order to get 5X10?

Since we sidetrack this topic, may I ask what's the cost for "standard" Birch 5 X10 sheet over at UK?

Hello greetings to all, I know it's an old thread but I'm interested in this model so much so that I already requested a price from one of these Chinese companies, but haven't they thought that the original designers, in this case Martin, sells them the information or plans and that way they recover the money invested in engineering. Added to that is the fact that the original product has not been sold as Martin expected and I know and it is not supposed to sound the same but where I quoted it it has active and passive and the woofers are the opposite, meaning the Chinese must have done some kind of test, I understand and I think that added to that the more than 15 years that they have been cloning or copying them, they must have made some changes to them, I see this like medicines that practically all come generic
