Mmm I think people need to start learning French or Italian to be able to get hold of p-audio drivers in the UK!
For me its very hard to get anything else or justify the price
B&C - strong money
Eminence - some units are fair value ie 6/8" mids but big 15/18" are crazy money
Zomax and a whole load of other chinese brands/Thai rebadges - QC is really low and TS's are a joke
JBL - outragous prices
RCF - outragous prices
That's kinda of it out here for choice!

I got mine from Len Industries off Ebay about £55 ea. Forgot to try ProAudioParts who now sell Celestion. Maybe they could PM me with a price for 4 off TN1225?

markie from this forum may be able to recommend good places to buy celestion
i made my DJ monitors by modifying the x12 plans - i used B&C HPL76 and B&C DE250 on a XT1086 horn - sounds good :) using two 12" drivers in a MTM config will give you added flexibility i.e. monitors for bigger gigs or as FOH mid top for smaller events. |

![]() Drew up these plans for a MMT Monitor design last night, Based on 2 x Celestion TN1230 1 x P-Audio PH-85 Horn 1 x Beyma CP755Ti 1.4 inch Compression Driver Included the dia 100mm ports in the front baffle however have not simulated any freq response tuning due to these ports with the Celestion's. In an MTM configuration where would the ports go? Or change shape of the ports to a rectangle? Jim |

So this monitor ins't ever going to be on the floor then?
If it was me I would use wooded 'triangle ports and go for an MTM configuration and have a 5 sided trap nexo PS15 style

Ah you mean like a fold-back wedge like a live stage type monitor? Im talking vertical/up right Left/Right 500W Headphone style ![]() I prefer DJ'ing with a monitor that has the HF about ear level so the MMT config is what I'm after, Maybe a single 12"+HF version would suffice on a stand from the floor... |

If you do a 5 sided trap it can go up or down!

Back on these...
Do the dia 100mm ports have a specific length for tuning? |
