They are 800wrms drivers so I wouldn't think a 750w amp would come close to hurting them? The seller was using an XTI4000 (1200w/ch @ 4 ohms) and even that is well below their program rating of 1600w.

something you will learn very quickly on this forum is that power ratings of drivers means nothing. that is a thermal limit not an operational limit. every speaker will respond differently in different enclosures and excursion can easily be exceded well under the RMS rating. anyways like i said it should be ok, dont expect the drivers to hold up for to long under those conditions. 
reality is meerly a compilation of what our limited sences precieve as being fact therefore there is no true universal reality and as such i propose that space and time can be bent twisted and altered

OK, well what HPF and power should I run these cabs at? Xmech is supposed to be 18mm

My friends regulary fried Omega 18s in Cerwin Vega L36s. They used 2 cabs per EP2500 in 4ohm bridge. Never clipped them.
