I've only ever seen camco boards in the LA8, each of the 4 modules are custom for the position in the amp, they are not interchangeable even in the same amp ie you cant swap say ch1 with ch4. They're somewhat better quality than pascal.

I get what you mean; it's like the old car vs. new car debate. Fixing a 2010+ car at home is nearly impossible, while older ones often just need a screwdriver. It’s a fair point, but that doesn’t mean we should avoid newer and better technology. For instance i do like D-class more than A-class junk=heavy af broke my back

Hey Voron, do you have schematics?
I've repaired few class D amps, may want to help.

Yep, that's why every professional touring and hire company are using class D these days and have been for a very long time, 'cause it's junk...
I like a big old school toroidal amp as much as the next sound guy but who wants to be lugging those about these days? And repairing them when 20+ year old components inevitably start going pop? It's a bit like a sales rep in 2025 driving a Vauxhall Cavalier.

 P.S; Why are you shouting?

L'Acoustics do a replacement kit for these modules, comes with new screws, tie bases, ties, rivets and instructions etc. There is also a returns form where you should fill out the failure circumstances of the old module, so I suspect they want them back as part of the deal.

But you must specify the channel number you need. The cables have to lie flat and true under each other and are all different lengths. You can't order a longer one and cut it down unless you're ok with IDC connectors and if it's too short it wont reach and the PCB transition header is soldered in making removal tricky.

I would talk to your local L'Acoustics dealer. MAke sure you're sitting down before they tell you the price.

i have already bought replacements, they are about £400 each.. and will soon be obsolete

hence having so many of them on the shelf.. always CH4 next to the fan

The ribbon cable is easily swapped from module to module, so if you have spare ch1, you could just swap the cable from the broken one and it'll no issues
