Hello all,

My name is Fabian and I'm located in Belgium. My 18 years old son is DJing since two years with Behringer stuff (a pair of B815 Neo and one 1500d sub). Since he is starting to do bigger events, I decided to build him a most serious rig.

I'm just starting with a pair of 186 horns. A pair of MT122 and a second pair of 186 will follow soon.

This is the first time I building speakers. I just finished to build the amp rack with all used equipment we recently bought. I prefer used good brand amp than new no brand ones.


Now, I ordered 2 RCF L18P300 drivers and started to build 186 horns. I'm lucky because my brother in law have a good workshop and dedicated a small part for my use.

I added WSX like front grid.















I hope I will be able to continue working on this soon and post new pictures.

Nice work so far.... looks like you have thrown together a pretty good rack there too. Look forward to more pics!

Hello All,

only 2 or 3 free hours Today to work on this project but got time to prepare the rear door assembly and started the horn sections.

This is very good to work on this after one day of office/computer work Smile

amazing build, lucky chap indeed!


on a side note, take away that equaliser! Not only does that unit sound naff, the way it is set makes things 100% worse!! Use them for CUT if really needed, NOT gain, and especially not in a whatever that curve is meant to be.... some decent kit there shame for it to be ruined with that Thumbs Up

The equalizer and crossover are temporary ones. They will be replaced by a DBX driverack in a short future.
