He is a legend. That is a classic track. The Lyrics are full of meaning and the instrumentation full of Soul! Still sounds great to this day.

In the main power module on the top board there is an empty chip space, I presume for ME5534AN.  Should this be occupied ?  Can I use one out of a channel strip to see if there are any other faults?

I've just come across this thread by chance, I'm looking for shallow rack cases similar to those shown above for a PM80 mixer, I intend to make up a connector panel to go above the mixer in the rack so only top access is required, and ideally a removeable lid.  Having great trouble finding a suitable case - can anyone suggest a UK supplier of something suitable? I must be searching using the wrong terms. Thanks!

There's a forum member here before offering custom cases if I remember correctly...im sure you could always try other companies if they can do you a one off according to your requirements.... but obviously this might cost you extra than the standard case.

hi Good evening to you i have seen your posts on the PM 80 and wonder do you have knowledge of the PM 90 i have one for years and has stood by me through thick and thin. but in the space of a few weeks i loaned it to a friend of mine and he used on a dodgy generator and took out all the regulators on the power supply, i have replaced them and all was ok , now a few weeks later an output channel has died and i have a hissing and popping sound on start up, . i have changed all the ics on the output card (pc 257) still no joy. i am running it in mono mode untill i get time to investigate more but i am hitting a wall , unfortunately i dont have a scope to trace so i am looking for any pointers you might have .
