I would like to use REW to measure noise coming from outside my house which may have some infrasound at high db.  Goal is to record and plot db vs and frequency 24/7 for time or elapsed time for a week or two.  I don't know if this is possible using REW.  If you know of other software to do this I would like to know that also.  Thank you for any assist you can give me on this.

you could record with Audacity and then apply some eq to remove all but the infrasound. you should then be able to see on screen any periods of high volume infrasound. What do you think the source might be?

So 1 problem what are you using to record WITH?
A normal mic will not work.
probably cheaper to build one than to buy also.

And I think snowflakes idea is on e right track.
As the microphone is the main thing. Not the recording software. (no clue how long REW ill record for - only used it for room setup, Now use Open Sound Meter. But most recording software (I use Soundforge) should do what you want
