just a bit, my left ear does hurt from standing a little too close.
i dont think the XP5000s ever registered more than -6dB either.

Yeah, it was a good setup. After this i am seriously considering xtros.
Cos my cabs sound a bit poop above 90Hz.
The efficiency and sound of the xt8 horn really impressed me, as this is the first time i have heard xtros with no other midtops.

yes and no,
kappa 15s are cheap, and do a fairly good job. The ones you heard the other night are 18sound loaded. (these do cost a fair bit.) 8pe21s are reasonable 1" is up to you.
