yup, illegal to catch them, or disturb their habitat (your pond) in any way. altho quite cool to have, will be annoying if it gets messy and needs a tidy up as you wont be able too.
 
 
heres my project now, the walls are now bolted solid, nearly full (24hours straight with hose on)
 
and the backend coming together, aqua-garden-bog thingy going in the back, ton or so of earth to fill it in. Waterfall to go down the middle instead of pipes

Has anyone else lost a dramatic amount of koi since january? Ours and a few neighbours seem to have been dropping like flys!
