Any members here have experience using these two drivers in the classic Mogale Super Scoop?

Currently running 1850s in them and looking at options to improve on sound I’m getting (especially at lower volumes)

18sound 18NLW9601

Any opinions welcome.

don't bother with the pd its no good low bl and cone thin, shame as wanted it to be a hit but after testing it was a let down,( , super scoop chamber is 202mm plus 18 on the front which is 220mm , the 9601 is 216mm from flange back , unless you have a 36mm front baffle neither are a good idea im afraid , , i tested supers with 1850s with and with removed dogleg , ok spl down a bit , but it will come alive with the 50 in at lower volumes :) it really shifts air with it removed i can assure you , also turbomax 1000i was the best driver i tested in it again leg removed

Suggest you ask admin, to move this post there.

By all feedback posted here, the 1845-2N, is not in the same league as 18nlw9601, even in the right Scoop.

The best driver in the standard Super scooper 18, is the Void V18-1000.

The 1850 excels in other Scoops.

18nlw9601 is my fav Scoop driver of all time, because I have drawn up Scoops, that it excels in.
